Tour Lima, Cusco y Machu Picchu 5 días

Día 1: Bienvenidos a Lima – City Tour

In the morning once you arrive at the Lima Airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel.

In the afternoon, we’ll embark on a beautiful city tour of Lima. We’ll explore the historic Lima’s Main Square, the majestic Government Palace, the ancient San Francisco Cathedral, and the enigmatic Huaca Pucllana. To conclude, we’ll taste a traditional Pisco Sour at the Hotel Bolívar and explore the park of love in the vibrant district of Miraflores.

Día 02.- Lima – Cusco – City Tour

In the morning After a short flight from Lima to Cusco, you’ll be greeted with a warming coca-leaf tea to help you acclimatize in your hotel.

In the afternoon, we’ll explore the Imperial City. We’ll visit the impressive Koricancha, the former Temple of the Sun, and the nearby Inca ruins of Sacsayhuamán, Kenko, Puca Pucara, and “Los Baños del Inca” in Tambomachay. At 6.30 PM you’ll be transferred to your hotel.

Day 3: Sacred Valley of the Inkas – Cusco

After breakfast, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. we’ll embark on a journey through the Sacred Valley. Our adventure begins in Corao, followed by a scenic drive along the Vilcanota River, offering panoramic views of the Inca citadel of Pisac. We’ll then explore the vibrant artisanal market of Pisac, where you can immerse yourself in local customs and buy unique souvenirs if you want.

For lunch, you can opt to savor delicious local food at a restaurant in the Sacred Valley (optional $20 USD). In the afternoon, we’ll visit the impressive Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, a strategic military, religious, and cultural center during the Inca Empire. You’ll have the opportunity to wander through the town’s streets and gain a deeper understanding of its historical meaning.

On our return to Cusco, we’ll visit the picturesque village of Chinchero, where you can admire the well-preserved Inca Wall in the Main Square and explore the beautiful colonial temple. This temple was built on the foundations of an Inca structure and features interesting frescoes on the portico.

After completing our exploration, we’ll return to Cusco, arriving around 7:00 PM.

Día 4: Cuzco – Machu Picchu – Cuzco

In the morning we’ll pick you up from your hotel 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. From there, we’ll take you to the train station in Ollantaytambo (1 hour 30 minutes away by car). Then we’ll board our train and travel to Aguas Calientes (2000 m), a journey that takes approximately 2 hours.

Upon arrival at the train station, our guide will be waiting for you with a sign and your names. We’ll then proceed to the bus station and ascend 400 meters in height along a zigzag path for 30 minutes. This will lead us to the incredible World Wonder: Machu Picchu Sanctuary, also known as “The Lost City of the Incas.”

Once we reach to the citadel of Machu Picchu, we’ll pass through the control point where you’ll receive your entrance ticket. From there, our guided tour will begin, exploring the main attractions of the city, such as the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the Cemeteries. The tour will last more than two hours.

After the guided tour, we’ll have free time to walk around the citadel and explore Machu Picchu on your own. We’ll then return to Aguas Calientes for lunch at one of the many restaurants.

In the afternoon, we’ll take the train back to Cusco, going by the same route as the outward journey. We’ll arrive at the Ollantaytambo train station, where we’ll be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco (1 hour and 30-minute trip by car).

Día 5: Cusco – Retorno a Lima

We’ll Pick you up and transfer from your hotel to the airport, 2 hours before your flight
