Tour Cusco, Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain 5 days

Day 01: Reception in Cusco and City Tour in Cusco

• A.M. Reception in the city of Cusco, transfer to the HTL where an aromatic coca tea will be served stimulating for the height of the city.
• 2P.M. EXCURSION CITY TOUR: which includes a visit to the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha, in addition to the 04 ruins surrounding the city: The Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puca Pucara, finally “The Baths of the Inca” Tambomachay.
• 6:30 PM Transfer to the hostel.

Day 2: Cusco –  Sacred Valley –  Aguas Calientes

• On this day, we will tour the Sacred Valley of the Incas and we will start at 08:30 AM, picking you up from the hotel to head to the town of Pisaq where you might appreciate the craft market, then the archaeological center of Pisaq, the great agricultural center of the Incas. Afterwards, we will go to Urubamba where we’ll have a buffet lunch. Then, we will go to the Fortress of Ollantaytambo, famous village that was one of the last places of resistance from the Spanish domination. finally we went to the train station of Ollantaytambo, enjoy a trip to Machu Picchu by panoramic train for 2 hours, upon arriving at the town of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes), our staff will be waiting for you to take them to your hotel of selection.

Day 3: “Aguas Calientes” – Machu Picchu – Cusco

• This day very early after breakfast at your hotel, at 5:30 AM you will board the first bus with your guide to the citadel of Machu Picchu and be the first to arrive and be able to contemplate the majestic sunrise. Then, you will enjoy a guided tour for almost 3 hours, visiting the main precincts of the Inca city such as The Main Plaza, The Circular Tower, The Intiwatana, The Royal Rooms, The Temple of the Three Windows, etc. At the end of the tour you can tour the citadel on your own, you can take the walk to the Sun Gate or the Inka Bridge.
• OPTIONAL: After your visit you can climb the Huaynapicchu mountain (3 hours up and down), or the Machu Picchu Mountain (3 and a half hours round trip) for which you have to pay an additional $.60 dollars and make the reservation in advance.
• After finishing your incredible experience, you can go down by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes and have lunch.
• In the afternoon you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our transport will be waiting for you and take you to your hotel in Cusco.
• Approximate time of arrival in Cusco 19:00 HRS

Day 04: Cusco – Rainbow Mountain – Cusco

• 5:00 AM, We pick you up from your hotel in our transport and start the trip to the town of Pitumarca (4500 m.a.s.l.) 2 hours of approximate travel. Upon arrival we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious breakfast and stock up on some things necessary to start the tour. After this short stop, we will continue our trip in the transport for 40 more minutes.
• We will arrive at the town of Phullawasipata at 3700 m.a.s.l. where we will start the walk uphill for 1 hour 20 min until we reach the Mountain of colors (5100 masl) and enjoy impressive views of its colors, Andes and Andean fauna. (Optional: this journey can be done on horseback. The cost of the horse is 60 soles (18 USD) only ascent). After enjoying all the beauty of the place and taking photos, we will descend towards the Red Valley, this immense valley receives this name due to the reddish color it presents.
• The descent through this valley will take us an average of 1 hour 30 minutes until we reach the town of Phullawasipata where our transport will be waiting for us and will take us to enjoy a delicious lunch included.
• Later we will return to Cusco with an approximate arrival time of 5:00 PM, then leave them in their respective hotels and take a well-deserved rest.

Day 05: Cusco – Return to Lima

• At the appropriate time, transfer from the hotel to the airport of Cusco (2 hours before the time of your flight) to take the flight back to Lima.
