Tour Cusco Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, Humantay 6 days

Day 01: Reception in Cusco and City Tour in Cusco

• A.M. Reception in the city of Cusco, transfer to the HTL where an aromatic coca tea will be served stimulating for the height of the city.
• 2P.M. EXCURSION CITY TOUR: which includes a visit to the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha, in addition to the 04 ruins surrounding the city: The Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puca Pucara, finally “The Baths of the Inca” Tambomachay.
• 6:30 PM Transfer to the hostel.

Day 2: Cusco –  Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu

• On this day, we will tour the Sacred Valley of the Incas and we will start at 08:30 a.m, picking you up from the hotel to head to the town of Pisaq where you might appreciate the craft market, then the archaeological center of Pisaq, the great agricultural center of the Incas. Afterwards, we will go to Urubamba where we’ll have a buffet lunch. Then, we will go to the Fortress of Ollantaytambo, famous village that was one of the last places of resistance from the Spanish domination. Finally, we will head to the train station of Ollantaytambo, to board the train that leaves at 07:00 p.m. towards “Aguas Calientes” where we will arrive averaging 08:40 p.m. Overnight at the selected hotel in “Aguas Calientes” (Machu Picchu village).
• In the evening, you will receive an informative talk with your guide.

Day 3: “Aguas Calientes” – Machu Picchu – Cusco

• This day very early after breakfast at your hotel, at 5:30 AM you will board the first bus with your guide to the citadel of Machu Picchu and be the first to arrive and be able to contemplate the majestic sunrise. Then, you will enjoy a guided tour for almost 3 hours, visiting the main precincts of the Inca city such as The Main Plaza, The Circular Tower, The Intiwatana, The Royal Rooms, The Temple of the Three Windows, etc. At the end of the tour you can tour the citadel on your own, you can take the walk to the Sun Gate or the Inka Bridge.
• OPTIONAL: After your visit you can climb the Huaynapicchu mountain (3 hours up and down), or the Machu Picchu Mountain (3 and a half hours round trip) for which you have to pay an additional $.60 dollars and make the reservation in advance.
• After finishing your incredible experience, you can go down by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes and have lunch.
• In the afternoon you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our transport will be waiting for you and take you to your hotel in Cusco.
• Approximate time of arrival in Cusco 19:00 HRS
• Hotel night in Cusco.

Day 04: Cusco – Rainbow Mountain – Cusco

• 4:00 AM Pick up from your hotel, we will board our tourist transport and then go to the town of Pitumarca (4500 m.n.m.) 3 hours of travel, Upon arrival we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet. After this short stop, we will start the hike uphill for 1 hour 30 min, until we reach the Mountains of colors (optional: you can rent a horse). When you reach the top of the mountain at 5100 masl, you can enjoy stunning views of the Andes and the Andean fauna.
• All the mountains that surround this area are colorful and there are stunning views of the valleys and the mysterious mountain of 7 colors, where we will have enough time to be able to take pictures and videos.
• After the great experience we will undertake the return walk around 1 hour 30 min, then we will enjoy a delicious lunch.
• Later we will return to Cusco, we will be arriving in the city 4:30 PM approximately and then leave them in their respective hotels, so we finish the tour to the mountain of 7 colors

Day 05: Cusco – Humantay Lake – Cusco

• 4:00 am, Our staff will come to pick you up at your hotel and we will board our mobility to travel northwest of the city of Cusco, to the town of Mollepata.
• In this small and picturesque town we will take our breakfast to fill ourselves with energy, then we will continue our trip to the starting point of the trek to the town of Soraypampa that is at an altitude of 3,900 m.a.s.l. After a short rest, we will begin our journey towards Lake Humantay located at an altitude of 4,180 meters above sea level, after the ascent of approximately 1 hour 20 min we will be able to appreciate the wonderful lagoon of Humantay and on the other side the Imposing Snowy Salkantay, after the explanation of our guide and take the souvenir photos we will have some time to enjoy the place and return to our Soraypampa camp to have our lunch with beautiful panoramic views of the snowy mountains and then they will be transferred to the city of Cusco, arriving at 5:00 pm approximately.

Day 06: Cusco: Return to Lima

• At the appropriate time, transfer from the hotel to the airport of Cusco (2 hours before the time of your flight) to take the flight back to Lima.
