Machu Picchu 2 days- with train from Cusco

Day 01: Cusco – Poroy – Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Poroy – Cusco

Very early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in our tourist transport and transfer you to the Poroy train station, located about 25 minutes from Cusco. From there, the train ride will take approximately 2 hours to the town of Aguas Calientes. Along the way, you will be able to see snow-capped peaks, glaciers, valleys, and Inca agricultural terraces on both sides of the valley, as well as various archaeological remains and km 82, the starting point of the Classic Inca Trail. Little by little, we will enter the high jungle until we reach Aguas Calientes, where upon arrival our staff will welcome you and accompany you to your hotel.
In the afternoon, you will have free time and, if you wish, you can visit the hot springs, the Mandor waterfalls, or the handicraft market.

In the evening, you will receive an informational briefing with our guide about the Machu Picchu tour for the following day.
Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 02: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes – Cusco

On this day, we will wake up very early and, after breakfast, head to the bus station to board the ecological buses and set off toward Machu Picchu in advance. Upon entering the site, you will be able to enjoy the majestic sunrise and the first rays of sun over this Wonder of the World. We will have a guided tour of approximately 3 hours to visit the most important areas, such as plazas, temples, and panoramic viewpoints. Afterwards, you will have free time to take your classic photos.

At the scheduled time, we will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes to board the return train to Poroy and, from there, the transport back to Cusco. Arrival in the city will be in the evening, where we will drop you off at your hotel.

Optional: ask if you would like to include the excursion to Huayna Picchu Mountain (requires an additional entrance ticket and advance reservation at least 4 months ahead).
