Day 1: Cusco City Tour

We will warmly welcome you at the Cusco airport and transfer you to your selected hotel, where you can rest and enjoy lunch before beginning your tour of the wonderful city of Cusco. In the afternoon, we will start the Cusco tour, which includes a visit to the Temple of the Sun, Qorikancha, and the four nearby ruins: the impressive Fortress of Sacsayhuamán, a remarkable military and ceremonial site that showcases the Incas’ architectural mastery; the ceremonial center of Qenqo, known for its enigmatic rock-carved structures used for religious rituals; the military complex of Puca Pucara, used as a strategic checkpoint to protect the entrance to the Sacred Valley; and the ceremonial baths of Tambomachay, a sacred site dedicated to the worship of water and purification. All of these form part of the historical and cultural treasures surrounding the ancient Inca capital of Cusco.

Day 02: Cusco - VIP Sacred Valley Tour - Aguas Calientes

We will pick you up from your hotel to begin the VIP Sacred Valley Tour, where you will explore fascinating archaeological sites accompanied by your professional guide. Our first stop will be Chinchero, known as the “Birthplace of the Rainbow” due to its stunning natural scenery and rich cultural history, where you can admire agricultural terraces and the remains of the royal estate of Túpac Inca Yupanqui.

Continuing the tour, we will arrive in Maras, a place famous for its traditional salt production process. Then we will visit Moray, where we will observe the impressive circular terraces that served as an Inca agricultural experimentation center. Afterward, we will head to Urubamba to enjoy a delicious lunch. Finally, we will visit the impressive Fortress of Ollantaytambo, built with colossal stones to protect the Inca Empire from possible invasions. After the guided visit, you will have the opportunity to walk through the town’s streets and gain a clear understanding of what this military, religious, and cultural center was like.

At the end of the tour, your guide will accompany you to the train station to board your train from Ollantaytambo to the town of Machu Picchu, “Aguas Calientes.” During the journey, you will enjoy wonderful landscapes and take amazing photos along this unique route. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we will be waiting to transfer you to a very comfortable and cozy hotel.

Overnight in Aguas Calientes.
