Tour Maras Moray on Atvs 1 day

Itinerary

Pick up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer to the town of Cruzpata, located in the Sacred Valley. The transportation journey takes approximately 1 hour.

Upon arrival in Cruzpata you’ll receive basic instruction on ATV (quad bike) handling, including safety rules and vehicle operation. You’ll be provided with a helmet and protective gear before starting the route.

We’ll begin the ATV route crossing dirt roads and trails surrounded by crop fields, with views of Andean snow-capped peaks and the Sacred Valley landscape. The route to Moray takes approximately 40 minutes.

Arrival at Moray, where you’ll have a guided visit of the archaeological site. Moray features concentric circular terraces that the Incas used as an agricultural experimentation center, taking advantage of the microclimates generated by the depth of the terraces. Time for photos and exploring the complex.

We’ll continue by ATV to the Maras Salt Mines (approximately 30 minutes of riding). Upon arrival you can observe the thousands of salt pools that have been exploited since pre-Inca times. The pools form a stepped landscape fed by a saltwater spring that flows from the mountain. Guided visit and time for photos.

Return by ATV to Cruzpata. From there our transportation will take you back to Cusco, arriving in the afternoon. Transfer to your hotel.
