Maras Moray ATV Tour 1 Day

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer you to the town of Cruzpata, located in the Sacred Valley. The trip by transport takes approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival in Cruzpata, you will receive basic instruction on how to operate the ATVs, including safety rules and proper use of the vehicles. You will be provided with a helmet and protective equipment before starting the tour. We will begin the ATV route crossing dirt roads and trails surrounded by farmland, with views of the Andean snow-capped mountains and the Sacred Valley landscape. The ride to Moray takes approximately 40 minutes. Arrival at Moray, where you will have a guided visit of the archaeological site. Moray features concentric circular terraces that the Incas used as an agricultural experimentation center, taking advantage of the microclimates created by the depth of the terraces. Time for photos and to explore the complex. We will continue by ATV to the Maras Salt Mines (approximately 30 minutes of riding). Upon arrival, you will observe the thousands of salt pools that have been exploited since pre-Inca times. The pools form a stepped landscape fed by a natural saltwater spring emerging from the mountain. Guided visit and time for photos. Return by ATV to Cruzpata.
