On the first day, you will begin the ascent from Soraypampa to the base camp, where you will spend the night under a starry sky. The next day, you will hike to the beautiful Humantay Lake, famous for its turquoise waters and majestic surroundings.

Detailed itinerary
DAY 1: CUSCO - SORAYPAMPA - HUMANTAY LAKE
- Awaken your adventurous spirit! At 5:00 AM we will pick you up to start an unforgettable journey. After traveling through beautiful landscapes, we will arrive in Mollepata, where a delicious breakfast awaits you.
- From Mollepata, we will head to Soraypampa and begin an exciting hike. Upon reaching Humantay Lake, you will be amazed by its natural beauty. Enjoy free time to explore, take photos, and connect with nature.
- After this incredible experience, we will return to Soraypampa to spend the night in cozy cabins. A delicious dinner awaits you to end the day.
DAY 2: SORAYPAMPA – SALKANTAY SNOWCAPPED MOUNTAIN – GLACIER LAKE SORAYPAMPA – CUSCO
- In the morning, after a delicious breakfast, we will depart from Soraypampa and begin our hike with a moderate ascent.
- After approximately 2 hours of hiking, we will reach the highest point of our trek, the famous Salkantay Pass at about 4,650 m / 15,367 ft. From this point, we will enjoy stunning views of Salkantay Mountain, snow-capped at around 6,217 m / 20,717 ft, as well as Humantay and Huayanay mountains, small mysterious lakes, white rivers, and steep terrain surrounding this majestic mountain.
- As an alternative and off the main route, we will take a half-hour side hike to get a panoramic view of the Salkantay Turquoise Lake and capture the best photos. We will then return to the main trail, hiking approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Soraypampa, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. Finally, we will board our transport to return to the city of Cusco, arriving around 5:00 PM, and drop you off at your hotel.
