Tour Lima, Paracas, Nasca, Cusco and Machu Picchu 8 dayz

Day 01: Arrival in Lima – Lima City Tour

• Morning pick-up from Lima airport and transfer to the hotel.
• Upon arrival at the hotel, you will have free time to rest and have lunch before starting the city tour of Lima.
• In the afternoon, at around 2:00 p.m., we will pick you up from your hotel in Miraflores or San Isidro to begin a panoramic city tour of Lima. We will visit the Love Park with its beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean, pass by the Huaca Pucllana to learn about its pre-Inca history, and then head to the Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will walk through San Martín Square, the traditional Jirón de la Unión, and the Main Square with its most important colonial buildings. We will also enter the Convent of San Francisco and its famous catacombs, one of the most emblematic sites of colonial Lima. At the end of the tour, we will return to your hotel, having discovered the best of modern and colonial Lima in a single afternoon.

Day 02: Lima – Paracas Ballestas Islands – Ica Huacachina

• Early in the morning, we will leave Lima and head to Paracas to board a boat to the Ballestas Islands, where you will see the Candelabro geoglyph drawn in the sand, as well as seabirds, Humboldt penguins, and sea lions in their natural habitat. We will then continue to Ica to visit a local winery and learn about the production process of wine and pisco, with the option to taste some of the products. In the afternoon, we will go to the Huacachina oasis for a buggy ride over the dunes and the chance to practice sandboarding, enjoying the desert landscape and sunset before returning to the city. Night in Ica.

Day 03: Ica – Nazca (Nazca Lines Flight) – Lima

• After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Nazca in the morning. Upon arrival, we will go to the local airport to board a small plane and enjoy a flight of approximately 45 minutes over the famous Nazca Lines, where you will see several of the most iconic figures such as the hummingbird, monkey, spider, condor, and the mysterious “astronaut” drawn in the desert. After the flight, you will have time for lunch and a short rest before starting the journey back to Lima by road.
• Overnight in Lima.

Day 04: Flight Lima – Cusco & City Tour

• After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up in advance to transfer you to the airport and board your flight from Lima to Cusco. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel, where you can enjoy a coca tea and take some time to acclimatize to the altitude.
• In the afternoon, you will begin a city tour of Cusco that includes visits to the Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun or Qoricancha, and the impressive nearby ruins such as Sacsayhuaman and Qenqo, from where you can enjoy beautiful views of the city. At the end of the tour, transfer back to the hotel.
• Overnight in Cusco.

Day 05: Cusco – Sacred Valley of the Incas – Aguas Calientes

• After breakfast, you will set off by private transport toward the Sacred Valley for a full day of Andean landscapes and archaeological sites. The first stop will be Chinchero, where you can see agricultural terraces and a picturesque traditional village.
• You will then continue to Maras to admire the famous salt mines, thousands of salt pools in the middle of the mountains, and later visit Moray, with its impressive circular terraces.
• Afterward, you will head to Urubamba to enjoy an included lunch and, in the afternoon, visit the imposing fortress of Ollantaytambo, an Inca complex built with huge stone blocks in a charming town with cobblestone streets.

Day 06: Cusco – Machu Picchu Tour – Cusco

• On this day, very early after breakfast, you will board the bus with your guide to the citadel of Machu Picchu to try to enjoy sunrise at the site and take part in a guided tour of approximately 3 hours, following the circuit indicated on your entrance ticket. Afterwards, you will have a short amount of free time to take photos before taking the bus down to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon, you will board the return train and, upon arrival at the Ollantaytambo station, our transport will take you back to your hotel in Cusco.
• Overnight in Cusco.
  Important: Entrance tickets to Huayna Picchu Mountain and Machu Picchu Mountain are quoted separately and must be reserved in advance.

Day 07: Rainbow Mountain – Cusco

• Early in the morning, after breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up to travel toward the Pitumarca area in the Ausangate mountain range. Along the way, there will be a brief stop to enjoy an Andean breakfast and get ready for the hike before continuing to the community of Phullawasipata, the starting point of the ascent to Rainbow Mountain.
• The trail crosses high Andean landscapes with views of snow-capped peaks and local wildlife until reaching a viewpoint from which you can admire the characteristic red, ocher, and green tones of the mountain.
• Optionally, part of the route can be done on horseback, hiring the service directly along the way. After taking in the scenery and taking photographs, you will begin the return hike to Phullawasipata, where transport will be waiting to take you to a local restaurant for lunch and then back to Cusco, ending the day at your hotel.
• Overnight in Cusco.

Day 08: Cusco – Return to Lima

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• On your departure day, we will transfer you from the hotel to the Cusco airport to board your flight back to Lima.
