Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Lima – Hotel Transfer – Afternoon City Tour
Arrival in Lima and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon at 2:00 PM, enjoy a tour of the historic center, including the Main Square, Lima Cathedral, and the San Francisco Convent with a visit to its underground catacombs from the colonial period (optional: if your arrival in Lima is in the afternoon, this tour can be done on Day 3).

Day 2: Ballestas Islands and Huacachina – Lima
Early departure to Paracas. Boat navigation to the Ballestas Islands to observe sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and seabirds. During the journey, you will see the Candelabro, a geoglyph etched into the desert sand.
Continuation to Ica to visit a traditional vineyard with a tasting of pisco and local wines. Lunch included.
In the afternoon, visit the Huacachina Oasis. Buggy ride through the dunes with the option of sandboarding. Return to Lima.

Day 3: Lima – Cusco Flight – Free Afternoon
After breakfast at the hotel in Lima, transfer to the airport to board the Lima – Cusco flight. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to your hotel in Cusco for check-in.
In the afternoon, free time to acclimate to the city’s altitude (3,390 m / 11,122 ft above sea level) and enjoy the streets of Cusco’s historic center.

Day 4: Super Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes
Full tour of the Sacred Valley. First stop in Chinchero, where you will visit a traditional textile center to learn about ancestral weaving techniques using alpaca wool and natural dyes. Visit to the archaeological site with agricultural terraces.
Continuation to Moray, a complex of circular terraces that functioned as an Inca agricultural laboratory, and the Maras Salt Mines, with thousands of salt pools exploited since pre-Inca times.
Lunch in Urubamba. Visit to Ollantaytambo, a town that preserves its original Inca urban layout. Tour of its fortress built with massive stone blocks transported from the surrounding mountains.
Later, we will transfer to the train station to board the train for a 1 hour and 30 minute journey to the town of Machu Picchu, also known as “Aguas Calientes.” Upon arrival, our staff will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Your guide will contact you to coordinate the time of your Machu Picchu tour for the following day.

Day 5: Machu Picchu – Cusco
After breakfast, we will transfer you to the bus station to begin a 30-minute ride to the entrance of the citadel, where your guided tour will begin (according to your assigned circuit). You will visit the most important areas that make this wonder truly unique. After the tour, you will descend by bus back to Aguas Calientes.
Free time for lunch, then board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting to take you by private transport back to Cusco by road (optional: return train to Poroy, add USD 20, available from May to December only).

Day 6: Cusco – Rainbow Mountain – Cusco
Very early in the morning, around 4:00 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and travel by private transportation toward Rainbow Mountain. After approximately 2 hours, we will arrive in Cusipata for breakfast, then continue for about 1 more hour to the starting point of the hike.
The uphill hike takes between 1.5 and 2.5 hours, depending on each person’s pace (optional: horse or motorbike rental USD 30), until reaching the Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) viewpoint, where you will have time to rest and take photos. We will then descend to return to the transportation, enjoy lunch in Cusipata, and head back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 PM.

Day 7: Humantay Lake – Cusco to Lima Flight
Hotel pickup and departure from Cusco at 4:30 AM, traveling toward Mollepata, where we will begin the route to Humantay Lake. Upon arrival, hike to the main viewpoint to enjoy the scenery and have free time for photos.
After the descent, return to Cusco in the afternoon. At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to board the evening flight from Cusco to Lima.
