Tour Cusco Machu Picchu & Inti Raymi Sun festival 5 days

DAY 1 (JUNE 23): – Reception in Cusco – Tour in Cusco in the afternoon (hotel).
DAY 2 (JUNE 24: – Cusco Inti Raymi or Sun Festival.
DAY 3 (JUNE 25): – Cusco – Sacred Valley Tour – Train to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Hotel).
DAY 4 (JUNE 26): – Excursion Machu Picchu all day – Cusco (Hotel).
DAY 5 (JUNE 27): – Return Cusco – Lima.

Day 01: Reception in Cusco and City Tour Cusco.

• A.M Reception at the airport and transfer to the selected hotel in Cusco, place where you could rest and have lunch before the tour begins in the city.
• 02:00 p.m.: Cusco Tour: – Includes a visit to the Sun Temple or Koricancha, in addition to visiting the 04 ruins near the city, Sacsayhuamán Fortress, Kenko, Puca Pucara and “Los Baños del Inca” Tambomachay, 06:30 p.m. Transfer to the hotel.
• Night hotel in Cusco.

Day 2: Cusco – Sacred Valley

• At 08:00 am, pick-up in private transportation from your hotel to start the trip to the Sacred Valley of the Incas and enjoy a guided tour of the archaeological sites of Chinchero, where you can see terraces and the remains of the royal treasury of Tupac Inca Yupanqui.
• Continuing the tour, we will arrive at Maras where the famous Salt Mines are located, then you will visit Moray, here you will contemplate the impressive circular terraces. Later, in Urubamba where you can have lunch, finally you will visit the Ollantaytambo Fortress, built with giant stones. After the tour, your guide will accompany you to the station to board your train from Ollantaytambo to the town of Machu Picchu for 2 hours. during the route you will be able to enjoy the wonderful landscapes and take the best pictures of a route without equal.
• Arriving in the city of “Aguas Calientes” we will be waiting for you to settle in a very comfortable and cozy hotel.

Day 3: Visit to Machu Picchu – Cusco

• This day very early after a breakfast buffet at 05:30 a.m., you will get on the first bus with your guide to the citadel of Machu Picchu and be the first to arrive and be able to contemplate the majestic sunrise. Then, you will enjoy a private guided tour for more than 2 hours, visiting the main precincts of the Inca city such as the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Intiwatana, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, etc. Once the tour completed, you will be able to visit the citadel on your own, you can do the walk at the Sun Gate or the optional Inca Bridge.
• After completing your incredible experience, you can get off by bus to the village of “Aguas Calientes” and have lunch. In the afternoon you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our transport will be waiting for you and take you to your hotel in Cusco. You will arrive to Cusco at approximately 6:00 pm

Day 4: Cusco Inti Raymi or Festival of the Sun

• Inti Raymi is the most important festivity in Cusco. It is also considered the second largest festival in South America after the Carnival of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Every year more than 100 thousand people attend this celebration. It is the time of the year when more tourists come to Cusco and Machu Picchu.
• This day, we will have the opportunity to participate in the impressive Inti Raymi or Festival of the Sun at the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, which has taken place since Inca times. This tour starts at 08:00 am, transfer from the hotel, then we will head for the first place. The Inti Raymi ceremony consists of three different scenes in three different places, it begins at the Qorikancha Palace located on Avenida El Sol, then we will go to the main square (Plaza de Armas del Cusco), where it will be the second retained section and finally ends with the special scene held in Sacsayhuamán (3 km from Cusco), where we will have the opportunity to take part in this ritual ceremony. Finishing our tour at 17:00.

Day 5: Cusco – Retorn to Lima

• At the right time, transfer to the Airport or Bus Station, in the Flight Case be one hour before we will pick you up to bring you to the Airport.
