Tour to Machu Picchu 1 day - Train from Poroy

Day 1: Cusco – Poroy – Visit to Machu Picchu – Poroy – Cusco

• Your experience begins early in the morning with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer to the Poroy train station, located about 20 minutes from the city. From there, you will board a panoramic tourist train that, for approximately 3 and a half hours, travels through the Sacred Valley following the river and passing between mountains until reaching the town of Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, your guide will be waiting to accompany you to the bus that takes about 25 minutes to ascend to the Machu Picchu citadel.

• Once at the sanctuary, you will begin a guided tour of about 3 hours, during which you will visit the most important areas such as temples, the Temple of the Three Windows, and other highlights that showcase the greatness of Inca architecture. At the end of the tour, you will have free time to take photographs.

• When your visit is over, you will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch at one of its tourist restaurants and relax before boarding the return train to Poroy. Upon arrival, our transport will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco, concluding a full day dedicated to the wonder of Machu Picchu.
