This trip through Peru combines history, culture, and adventure on a journey through Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain by ATV, the Route of the Sun to Puno, Lake Titicaca, and the Chullpas of Sillustani. It then continues to the southern coast to visit Pisco and take the flight over the Nazca Lines, ending in Lima with a City Tour before the return flight.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Lima – Flight from Lima to Cusco
In the morning, after your arrival in Lima, you will take a flight to the city of Cusco, where we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with coca tea to help with acclimatization. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a city tour, visiting Qoricancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun; Saqsayhuaman, with its impressive carved stone blocks; Cristo Blanco, offering panoramic views of the city; and the San Pedro Market.

Day 2: Cusco Hotel – Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes
Full tour of the Sacred Valley. Visit Chinchero to learn about ancestral weaving techniques. Continue to Moray, with its circular terraces that served as an Inca agricultural laboratory, and the Maras Salt Mines, with thousands of salt pools that have been used since pre-Inca times.
Lunch in Urubamba. Visit Ollantaytambo, a town that preserves its Inca urban layout and its fortress built with stone blocks transported from the mountains.
Train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. Meeting with the guide to coordinate the visit for the following day.

Day 3: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco
Breakfast at the hotel. Bus ride to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Guided tour through the temples, plazas, and agricultural terraces of this 15th-century Inca sanctuary. You will visit sacred temples and important sites within the citadel.
You will have time to take photos of the places you visit. If you have the additional entrance ticket, you will also have time to hike Huayna Picchu (optional entrance fee: USD 75). At the end of the visit, you will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes.
You will have time for lunch in Aguas Calientes (not included). Afterward, you will head to the train station to board the return train to Ollantaytambo, followed by tourist transportation back to Cusco.

Day 4: Rainbow Mountain ATV Tour – Cusco
Very early departure from your hotel in Cusco toward the Ausangate mountain range. Along the way, there will be a stop to enjoy breakfast before continuing to the starting point of the adventure.
Upon arrival at the starting point, you will receive a brief safety and ATV driving briefing. Then, you will begin the ATV ride through Andean landscapes, rural roads, and panoramic views as you approach the Rainbow Mountain area.
After the ATV ride, you will take a short hike to the main viewpoint of Vinicunca, located at approximately 5,100 meters above sea level. From this point, you will be able to appreciate the natural colorful stripes formed by minerals, with shades ranging from red to turquoise.
Free time at the summit to take photos and enjoy the landscape before starting the return. Then, you will descend back to the ATV area to continue the return journey. Lunch is included before returning to Cusco.

Day 05: Route of the Sun: Cusco – Puno
After breakfast at the hotel, you will travel by road with stops at representative sites: Andahuaylillas, with its colonial church known as the “Sistine Chapel of the Americas”; the Inca temple of Raqchi; La Raya Pass, located at 4,335 meters above sea level, with views of the mountain range; and the Pukara Museum. Arrival in Puno.

Day 06: Lake Titicaca – Hotel in Puno
You will begin your tour with a boat ride on Lake Titicaca, known as the highest navigable lake in the world. Visit the floating islands of the Uros, built with totora reeds, where you will learn about the way of life of their inhabitants.
Continue to Taquile Island to explore its agricultural terraces and learn about the textile traditions of the community. Traditional lunch included. Return to Puno.

Day 07: Chullpas of Sillustani and Flight from Juliaca to Lima
After breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up and transfer you to Sillustani, located on the route to Juliaca Airport. This enigmatic archaeological site, situated about 40 minutes from the city of Puno, was an important cemetery used by pre-Inca and Inca cultures. Its impressive chullpas, or funerary towers, stand out as majestic stone structures rising up to 12 meters high. After the visit, we will continue to Juliaca Airport to take the flight to Lima.

Day 08: Lima – Pisco (Flight Over the Nazca Lines)
We will pick you up from your hotel in Lima for the transfer to Pisco Airport. Upon arrival, you must present your passport and pay the airport tax of S/ 70.00 per person in cash. Then, you will board a Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft to begin this exciting experience. During the flight, the pilots will point out each of the figures as the aircraft flies over the impressive Nazca and Palpa Lines. The approximate flight duration is 95 minutes, including around 35 minutes over the lines. After the flight and landing back at Pisco Airport, you will have time for lunch before returning to your hotel in Lima.

Day 09: Lima City Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, we will pick you up to begin the Lima City Tour, with available departure times at 9:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. During the tour, we will explore the historic City of Kings, visiting the Historic Center of Lima, the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Lima Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, and other important attractions. We will also visit the Love Park, one of the most representative places in Miraflores. Then, we will continue to the San Francisco Convent Museum, an important 17th-century religious art museum, where we will admire its beautiful library and the famous Catacombs. Optionally, you may enjoy Peru’s renowned gastronomy.

Day 10: Hotel Transfer – Airport – Return Home
On this final day, 4 hours before your international flight, we will pick you up from your hotel in Lima and transfer you to Jorge Chávez Airport. Upon arrival, you will be able to complete the corresponding check-in process and continue with your return flight.
