Day 1: Inti Raymi All-Inclusive Full-Day Tour
The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco, and we head to Qoricancha, where the first reenactment of Inti Raymi takes place. This ceremony represents the Inca greeting to the Sun according to ancient tradition. We then walk to the Main Square of Cusco (Plaza de Armas), the setting for the second reenactment, where actors, musicians, and dancers parade wearing traditional costumes.
Afterward, we travel by tourist transportation to the esplanade of Sacsayhuamán, where the main ceremony takes place. This is the most important and extensive part of Inti Raymi, featuring hundreds of actors recreating the Inca ritual in honor of the Sun God. This performance is held in specially prepared grandstands for visitors.
Throughout the day, you will be accompanied by a professional bilingual guide (Spanish and English), who will explain the historical and cultural significance of each part of the celebration. The tour includes transportation, grandstand seating tickets (Red, Green, or Orange), a box lunch, and a commemorative souvenir, ensuring a comfortable and well-organized experience.
This tour is ideal for travelers who want to experience Cusco’s most important festival safely and without worries, enjoying one of the largest cultural celebrations in Peru.
