Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes
Our Machu Picchu tour begins with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival at the station, you will board the panoramic train to Machu Picchu. This service is ideal for enjoying stunning Andean landscapes and taking excellent photos along a unique route, until arriving at the town of Machu Picchu, also known as “Aguas Calientes.”
Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting to escort you to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore the town of Aguas Calientes and relax at the hot springs, located about a 10-minute walk away.
In the evening, your guide will visit you at the hotel to provide details about the tour scheduled for the following day.

Day 2: Machu Picchu Tour – Ollantaytambo – Cusco
Very early in the morning, after a buffet breakfast at your hotel, your tour guide will pick you up to take one of the first buses to the Machu Picchu citadel, allowing you to enjoy the sunrise. You will then take part in a guided tour lasting over 2 hours, visiting the main areas of the Inca city, such as the main plaza, temples, sacred enclosures, and important viewpoints, where you will also have time to take the classic photos.
After the tour, you will descend by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon, you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.
