In the afternoon, you will begin the Cusco City Tour. We will start by visiting the impressive Temple of the Sun, or Qoricancha, an ancient Inca ceremonial center over which the Santo Domingo convent was built. We will then continue by vehicle to the main archaeological sites surrounding the city: the majestic Sacsayhuamán Fortress, the ritual center of Qenqo, the control fortress of Puca Pucara, and the terraces and fountains of Tambomachay, known as the Inca baths. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Overnight in Cusco.
Day 2: Cusco - Super Sacred Valley - Aguas Calientes
We will begin the day by picking you up from your hotel to head toward the impressive Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be Chinchero, a charming Andean village where you will have the opportunity to learn about traditional textile weaving and appreciate its ancient Inca ruins. We will then continue to Moray, an extraordinary Inca agricultural laboratory made up of circular terraces that create various microclimates, followed by a visit to the Maras Salt Mines, a stunning set of thousands of salt pools forming one of the valley’s most fascinating landscapes.
The journey continues to Urubamba, where you will enjoy lunch before heading to the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo. There, we will explore its archaeological complex, its still-inhabited Inca streets, and the construction sectors that highlight its strategic and ceremonial importance. At the end of the tour, you will board the train bound for the town of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes), where our staff will welcome you and accompany you to your hotel.
Overnight in Aguas Calientes.
Day 3: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco
After breakfast at the hotel, you will take the tourist bus to the impressive citadel of Machu Picchu, enjoying a pleasant ride surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. Once in the Llaqta of Machu Picchu, you will begin a guided tour of approximately three hours, during which you will visit the most important sectors of the sanctuary, exploring its temples, ceremonial enclosures, terraces, and viewpoints, according to the schedule and circuit indicated on your entrance ticket.
For those who want an even more complete experience, there is the option to hike up Huayna Picchu Mountain, a trail that requires advance reservation and has an additional cost per person. At the end of the visit, you will take the bus back down to the town of Aguas Calientes. Later, you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting to continue the journey by road to your hotel in the city of Cusco.

At the site, our guide will demonstrate the traditional use of coca leaves and perform a small offering to the Apus, or sacred mountains, in which you may participate if you wish. Once at the top, you will have time to enjoy the panoramic views, take photos, and listen to the guide’s explanation about the geological formations and cultural significance of the area.
