Discover the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in 2 days on a classic tour chosen by many travelers. On the first day, we depart from Cusco, stop at viewpoints overlooking the Sacred Valley, and visit sites such as Pisac and Ollantaytambo. In the afternoon, we take the panoramic train to Aguas Calientes, where we spend the night. The next day, we travel by bus up to the Machu Picchu citadel for a guided tour of its main sectors, and at the end, we return by train and transportation to Cusco.

Itinerario detallado

Day 1: Cusco - Sacred Valley - Aguas Calientes

Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel to begin the tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be the town of Pisac, where we will visit its handicraft market and then the archaeological site, known for its terraces and Inca constructions. We will continue to Urubamba, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the Ollantaytambo Fortress, one of the last strongholds of Inca resistance against the Spanish. At the end, we will head to the train station to travel to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night at the selected hotel. In the evening, you will have a brief informational talk with your guide about the visit to Machu Picchu the following day.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu Tour - Cusco

Very early in the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, we will board the tourist bus with the guide to the Machu Picchu citadel. Upon arrival, we will begin a guided tour of approximately 2 hours, visiting the main sectors of the Inca city. During the tour, you will have time to take photos at the most iconic spots, such as sacred temples, important plazas, and more. Entrance to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain is subject to availability and requires advance reservation. Afterward, we will return by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo and, upon arrival, our transportation will take you back to your hotel in Cusco.
