Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco – VIP Sacred Valley of the Incas – Aguas Calientes
At 6:30 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel in our transportation to begin the journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas and enjoy a guided visit to its main archaeological and cultural attractions:
Chinchero: Visit to a traditional textile center and the archaeological site, with cultural demonstrations showcasing ancient Andean dyeing and weaving techniques.
Maras and Moray: Tour of the impressive Maras Salt Mines and exploration of the enigmatic circular agricultural terraces of Moray, considered an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory.
Urubamba: Lunch at a restaurant in the Sacred Valley, featuring local and fusion cuisine, set in a beautiful mountain environment.
Ollantaytambo: Visit to the impressive Ollantaytambo fortress, built with massive stone blocks and considered one of the finest examples of Inca military architecture.
After the visit, we will board the tourist train from Ollantaytambo to the town of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes), on a panoramic journey of approximately 2 hours.
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our team will be waiting to escort you to your hotel and assist you with check-in.
Day 2: Machu Picchu visit – Cusco
According to your assigned entry time to Machu Picchu, we will pick you up from your hotel and head to the bus station for a 25-minute ride to the entrance of the Inca citadel.
Together with our guide, we will enter Machu Picchu for a guided tour lasting approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, during which you will discover the history and architecture that surround this amazing sanctuary.
At the end of the tour, we will return by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (lunch not included).
Return to Cusco: In the afternoon, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo (approx. 1 hour 45 minutes). Upon arrival at the station, our private transportation will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco (approx. 1 hour 30 minutes).
