Detailed itinerary

Day 1 (June 23): Reception in Cusco and City Tour

Upon arrival in Cusco, our team will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel so you can rest and acclimatize. In the afternoon, we will begin the City Tour, visiting the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha and the archaeological complexes of Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay, known for their historical importance and Inca architecture. At the end, we will return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cusco.

Day 2 (June 24): Inti Raymi – Festival of the Sun

This day you will experience Inti Raymi, the most important festival in Cusco and one of the most impressive cultural celebrations in South America. The ceremony consists of three moments: it begins at Qorikancha, continues at the Plaza de Armas, and concludes with the main event at the esplanade of Sacsayhuamán. Throughout the performance, you will witness rituals, music, dances, and offerings in honor of the Sun God, following the traditions of the ancient Inca Empire. At the end of the ceremony, we will return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cusco.

Day 3 (June 25): Cusco – Sacred Valley – Train to Machu Picchu Pueblo

We will begin our Sacred Valley excursion by visiting Chinchero, known for its agricultural terraces and the remains of the palace of Inca Túpac Yupanqui. We will continue to the Maras Salt Mines and then to Moray, an ancient agricultural experimentation center. After lunch in Urubamba, we will visit the impressive Fortress of Ollantaytambo. At the end of the tour, you will board the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes), enjoying a journey surrounded by spectacular Andean landscapes. Reception at the station and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Aguas Calientes.

Day 4 (June 26): Machu Picchu – Return to Cusco

After breakfast, you will take the bus up to the entrance of Machu Picchu together with your guide, entering according to the time indicated on your ticket. During the visit, you will explore the most important sectors of the citadel, such as viewpoints, agricultural areas, urban sectors, temples, and ceremonial enclosures. At each stop, you will have time to take photos at the most iconic spots. At the end, you will descend back to Aguas Calientes for lunch before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our transportation will take you to your hotel in Cusco. Overnight stay in Cusco.

Day 5 (June 27): Cusco – Return to Lima

At the indicated time, our team will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the corresponding airport, assisting you with your return to Lima.
