Day 01: Arrival in Cusco and Archaeological City Tour
Your trip begins with the flight from Lima to Cusco. Upon arrival at the airport, our team will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. A short rest and a cup of coca tea are recommended to help with acclimatization to the altitude (3,400 m.a.s.l.). In the afternoon, we will start the city tour and visit the surrounding archaeological sites.
We will visit Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), the finest example of Inca religious architecture, and then head to the outskirts to explore the fortress of Sacsayhuamán, famous for its massive stone blocks. The tour continues through the ceremonial sites of Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay, where the guide will explain the historical and architectural significance of each place. Return to the hotel.

Day 02: Cusco – Machu Picchu – Cusco
Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the train station in Ollantaytambo. You will travel by train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town), enjoying the beautiful landscapes of the Sacred Valley. Upon arrival, you will board the ecological bus that goes up to the entrance of the citadel. Once in Machu Picchu, you will have a guided tour of approximately 2 hours, visiting the main temples, squares and terraces.
After the guided tour, we will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included) and to wait for the return train to Ollantaytambo, where a private transport will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.
Overnight in Cusco.
Optional: entrance to Huayna Picchu Mountain (additional cost USD 75, must be, reserved 4 months in advance).
Day 03: Cusco – Puno: The Route of the Sun
After breakfast, we will transfer you to the bus station to begin the tourist journey toward Puno. Unlike a regular bus, this service makes guided stops along the way: First, you will visit the church of Andahuaylillas, known as the “Sistine Chapel of America” for its colonial murals. Then, the archaeological complex of Raqchi (Temple of Wiracocha). We will make a stop in Sicuani for a buffet lunch featuring local cuisine. In the afternoon, we will visit La Raya, the highest point on the route (4,335 m.a.s.l.) and the natural border between Cusco and Puno, ending with the Lithic Museum of Pukara. Arrival in Puno at sunset and transfer to the hotel.
Night at hotel in Puno
Day 04: Puno – Lake Titicaca – Uros and Taquile Islands
After breakfast, we will head to the port of Puno to board a motorboat and navigate Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. The first stop is the Floating Uros Islands, where you will learn how this community builds its islands and homes using totora reeds. We will then continue the journey to Taquile Island, famous for the quality of its textiles (World Heritage). Here, we will take a walk to enjoy the lake views and learn about local customs. In the afternoon, we will return by boat to the city of Puno and transfer you to your hotel.
Overnight in Puno
Day 05: Puno – Sillustani – Juliaca Airport
Breakfast and check-out from the hotel. On the way to the airport, we will make a strategic stop at the Sillustani Chullpas, a pre-Inca and Inca cemetery featuring impressive funerary towers located in front of Lake Umayo.
