Machu Picchu Full-Day Tour

Day 1: Cusco – Machu Picchu Tour – Cusco

• You begin your Machu Picchu adventure with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo. From there, you will board a panoramic train with all the comforts, ideal for enjoying the Andean landscape, canyons, and sections of the famous Inca Trail as you travel to the town of Aguas Calientes, where your guide will be waiting to take you by bus to the sacred city of the Incas. During the bus ride up, you will have spectacular views of the lush mountains and the surroundings of the sanctuary.

• Upon arrival at the Machu Picchu citadel, you will begin a guided tour of approximately 2 to 3 hours, visiting its most important areas: temples, plazas, ceremonial sectors, agricultural terraces, and viewpoints from where you can appreciate the full magnitude of the ancient Inca city. Your guide will help you understand the history, meaning, and use of these spaces while you have time to take photos and enjoy the scenery.

• Then you will take the bus back down to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch at one of its tourist restaurants.

• In the afternoon, you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo along the same panoramic route. Upon arrival at the station, our transport will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco, ending a full day dedicated to discovering one of the Wonders of the World.
